The Executive Board of the Clergy Brotherhood of the Serbian Orthodox Church in North and South America scheduled the Annual Assembly to be held in the Western Diocese of the Serbian Orthodox Church this year on September 23 and 24, 2010. Protopresbyter Djokan Majstorovic, Dean of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral in New York City is President of the Brotherhood. His Grace Bishop Dr. MAXIM, the host hierarch for this year’s Assembly was attentive and actively present throughout the two days. His Grace arranged for acclaimed theologian Dr. Christos Yannaras from Greece to be the featured speaker. On the Thursday afternoon Dr. Yannaras addressed the clergy at the St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church in Phoenix, Arizona. Very Reverend Stavrofor Janko Trbobovic was the host priest. Afterwards the group went to St. Anthony Greek Orthodox Monastery in Florence and was well-received for a visit and tour. Thursday evening concluded with a gracious and warm reception by Reverend Mother Abbess Michaila,  the Sisterhood and Father Dorotheus and Father David of  St. Paisius Serbian Orthodox Women’s Monastery in Safford, Arizona. The guest house at St. Paisius Monastery was made available for the  overnight stay.

From November 3-4, the Eastern Diocese will hold a clergy seminar at Shadeland camp.  This year's theme is is "Every Parish is a Mission Parish," with Fr Dragomir Tuba as the featured speaker.

Vespers will be held on Wednesday evening at 6:00PM, Liturgy the following morning at 10:00AM, with the seminar and luncheon to follow.  All attendees need to bring pillows, bed sheets, blankets and towels.
